Our Summer Direct is finally here, almost! And while the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase may not be what everyone wants (without Breath of the Wild 2 it doesn’t make us sad!), There will certainly be a healthy dose of great third-party news for Switch owners.
This is the first Direct from the February proposal and the first presentation of partners from 2020. This will not be Direct in the traditional sense, but rather the full 25-minute presentation will be posted on YouTube so that people can watch their own time. There is no live streaming, only a video that we can all watch in our time after it falls at 6:00 PDT / 9:00 EDT / 14:00 BST / 15:00 CET.

So what do we think will be shown? We already have some ideas and you made your voice heard in our poll yesterday – which you can still vote for if you want a cheeky look before watching the video!
However, there were a few more small hints and messages from last night. Shin-chan: Me and the professor on summer vacation – The endless seven-day trip is coming to the West this August, so we’ll be surprised if we don’t see it in today’s window. A potential release date for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope had also expired from Ubisoft. And rumors that the highly acclaimed philosophical action RPG NieR: Automata by Square Enix and PlatinumGames will come to Switch have started to swirl.
The showcase is set to appear at 6:00 PDT / 9:00 EDT / 14:00 BST / 15:00 CET on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel.
