You’d expect gas prices to go up over the long weekend, but this Canada Day weekend we’re seeing them drop, and dramatically.
So if you can hold out until tomorrow, you’ll save a lot at the gas pump.
Petrol prices fell by a whopping 11 cents last night (June 30) and will fall by a further 6 cents a litre.
Overall, Thursday through Saturday, you’ll save an average of 17 cents per liter, which is about a $12 savings per full tank of gas on a 70-gallon tank.
That would bring gasoline prices to an average of $1.879 cents a liter, making it the lowest price since April 30.
