Lowest MacBook Pro 16-inch prices in July 2022

You can find some decent MacBook Pro 16-inch prices today, even though the laptop didn’t come out until late 2021. That’s why we’ve put together this page that collects all the best MacBook Pro 16-inch deals available right now. If there’s a decent discount on Apple’s latest, greatest laptop, it’ll be on this page.

We’re big fans of the behemoth that is the 16-inch MacBook Pro. That’s why we gave it five stars in our MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) review—something we don’t do lightly. But it boasts the biggest and best screen on the market, not to mention outstanding power thanks to the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, backed by colossal battery life, so it was a no-brainer. But what does a good 16-inch MacBook Pro deal look like?

Well, the entry-level MacBook Pro 16-inch, the M1 Pro, retails for $2,499/£2,399, and right now any saving on that is a good deal. That’s because the 16-inch MacBook Pro is still new and still in high demand. However, we’ve seen up to $150/£150 off that price, so if you see something like this then we’d call it a good deal.

Too much power for many

For starters, let’s manage expectations here. After all, the 16-inch MacBook Pro doesn’t go on sale until October 2021, and the base model with its 10-core M1 Pro processor, 16-core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD inside costs $2,499/£2,399 at retail price. Remember, for that price you can get a pretty good price for a 14-inch MacBook Pro, with the same specs but more storage on a 1TB SSD.

However, we’re seeing almost $200/£200 off the entry price of the MacBook Pro 16-inch, so if you’re seeing anything close to that on offer here, it’s worth checking out. And what about the higher spec versions?

If you’re a professional digital creator, such as a video editor, you might want to look at the higher specs, but that will obviously come with a higher price tag on the MacBook Pro 16-inch. Opt for a MacBook Pro 16-inch with M1 Max 32-core 64GB, plus 1TB of storage (you can get up to 8TB), it’ll set you back $3,899/£3,699 retail. But choosing the more expensive model usually comes with bigger deals.
