Raptors, Chris Boucher agree to three-year contract

The Raptors have agreed to bring back big man Chris Boucher on a three-year, $35.25 million deal, agent Sam Permuth told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski ( Twitter link ).

Toronto used the rights to Boucher’s Bird to re-sign him for a deal worth slightly more than the full mid-level exception. It’s a fully guaranteed deal, ESPN’s Bobby Marks writes.

Boucher is an athletic, energetic big man who can block shots and held opponents to 43.9 percent shooting last season. He is an unusual player in many ways, standing 6’9″ but weighing only 200 pounds. Although Boucher often plays center, he is capable of switching between multiple positions using his speed and 7’4″ wingspan.
