A man has been found dead in the Gravenhurst River

Police in Gravenhurst say they are investigating the death of a man who was reported missing Friday.

According to OPP data, shortly after 10 a.m., a missing 67-year-old man was reported missing. Last seen on June 29, 2022, Wednesday.

Members of the Central Regional Emergency Response Team, canine unit and underwater search and recovery unit began searching for the man and found his body around 12pm on Friday afternoon in the Cache River.

Police do not suspect foul play in the death, believing it to be non-suspicious.

An autopsy is pending to determine how he died.
