After entering the global markets, the Oppo Reno 8 series will be launched in India as well! Recently, rumors and leaks suggest that Oppo will launch the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro on July 21, 2022 in India, Abhishek Yadav shared the news. After the China launch, several reports and leaks have surfaced online suggesting that Oppo will launch only the vanilla variant of the Oppo Reno 8 alongside the Reno 8 Pro as a rebranded version of the fancier version of the Reno 8 Pro+ in China. However, Oppo is still tight-lipped about the expected launch of the Oppo Reno 8 series in India. Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma has given interesting specifications about the Oppo Reno 8 series, including color variants, storage options and pricing for the Indian variants. Here’s what we know so far about the Oppo Reno 8 arrival and its specifications in India.
Oppo Reno 8 expected specifications in India
A leak from tipster Mukul Sharma has once again confirmed the arrival of the Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 pro models in India, which are speculated to offer three storage options for both the models. These storage options include – 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage option and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option.
The vanilla version is likely to be available in two different sets of two color options – Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black, while the Pro version is expected to include Glazed Black and Glazed Green options.
Previous leaks suggest that the Pro avatar of the Oppo Reno 8 series is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset. Expected to be the rebranded version of the Reno 8 Pro+, it boasts the same triple rear camera specs that includes a 50MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP micro sensor. This is also equipped with a Mariana MariSilicon X chip for still images and better videos. It has a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
Oppo Reno 8 expected price
The latest leak has also shed light on the expected price of the duo of Oppo Reno 8 variants. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Pro version could debut with a starting price of around Rs. 45,000-46,000, while the entry-level variant could have Rs. 30,000 to Rs.33,000 Price. However, it is worth noting that Oppo is yet to confirm the details of its Reno 8 series in India.
