Map of Rogers outages in Ontario

Days after the initial Rogers outage cut off national networks, some residents in Ontario still don’t know.

Although Rogers says it has restored “the majority” of its customers’ connections, reports of continued Internet, phone and TV outages are still being tracked.

Service outage map not working? illustrates the areas of the country where outages still have a strong impact on residents. The website tracks outages and problems in real time to services from Internet and phone providers to video streaming sites and messaging apps.

In particular, Toronto shows the latest reports of ongoing outage issues.

The website cites more than 25,000 reports of outages in Toronto alone in the past few days. Of those reports, 51 percent involved Internet outages, while the remaining outages involved phone, television, Wi-Fi and e-mail.

Currently, the website says residents in downtown Toronto (M5A, M9N, M5V), Eglinton West and Weston (M9N, M6M), North York (M3H), Jane and Finch (M3N) and Caledonia (M6E) have reported the most -the recent outages.

After Toronto, over 5,500 outage reports were filed in Brampton along with over 5,400 reports in Ottawa. Barry was also hit hard with nearly 3,000 recent reports.

London, Kitchener, Mississauga, Guelph and Hamilton are also listed as notable areas still feeling the impact in Ontario. A real-time map shows the areas in Ontario still affected by the Rogers (Is the Service Down Canada) outage.
