Here’s an unusual offer for US readers. Amazon currently has Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition Nintendo Switch for $296.99 (opens in new tab), which is a saving of $63 – the only catch is that it’s a UK edition of the console. The good news is that it’s fully compatible with US games, you’ll just need a power adapter to make sure you can charge it. Here we are. Amazon just dropped a trio of Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals on the best Switch of all, the latest OLED version. There are no console-only discounts, but there are three Prime Day deals on bundles – and they’re cheaper than the regular console-only price!
So what are your options? The biggest saving is on the Nintendo Switch OLED + Just Dance 2022, reduced by £64.99 from £359.98 to £294.99 (opens in new tab). Considering the standard retail price of just the OLED console is £309.99, that’s a pretty good deal.
If you’re more into fighting creepy alien lifeforms than dancing, you can pick up the Nintendo Switch OLED + Meteor Dread for £308.95, a saving of £51 (opens in new tab). A great package that gives you a game that really makes the most of the stunning OLED screen. Your last option is OLED with Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, also at £308.95 (opens in new tab).

Amazon Prime Day has now officially started in the UK, so are you seeing any Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals? Well, unfortunately there aren’t any specific Prime Day deals for Switch consoles, but there is a nice 13% savings on the Nintendo Switch Lite, which isn’t part of Prime Day. This means you can take advantage of this deal even if you’re not a Prime member.
The Nintendo Switch Lite has been reduced by £25 from £199 to £174.99 (opens in new tab) and is currently available in all five color options.

To recap, with a few hours left until Prime Day itself begins, we’re still not seeing any Switch console discounts in the US. But the good news is that now it looks like Amazon at least has solid stock levels of all three models: the original Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED — all at their official retail prices, which aren’t inflated by distributors.
That means you can get the original Nintendo Switch for £298 (opens in a new tab), the Nintendo Switch Lite for $199 (opens in a new tab) and the sleek Nintendo Switch OLED for $349 (opens in a new tab). OLED in particular was almost impossible to get hold of in the US until very recently.

It’s not all about the hardware when it comes to Nintendo Switch deals. Ahead of Amazon Prime Day, there are some good deals on top games and even Switch Online subscriptions.
The ones we’re most interested in are 7% off a three-month Nintendo Switch Online membership (opens in a new tab), making that $7.42. It’s not mind-blowing, but we’ll take any chance we can to make a small saving, no matter how small.
You can also get up to 30% off a number of the best Nintendo Switch games right now also on Amazon when purchased as a digital download. Our picks would be Super Mario Odyssey (opens in new tab), Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic (opens in new tab) and Kirby and the Forgotten Land (opens in new tab) – well, that last one is just 9% off, but it’s Kirby!

As mentioned, Nintendo Switch deals are always thin on the ground. That’s why bundle deals can often be a good way to save money on these highly sought-after gaming consoles.
There are many bundles at Walmart, including branded special editions. Some are a little old, but if this is your first Nintendo Switch, then they’re worth checking out. Catching our attention is the $479.69 $389.99 Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch Edition (opens in new tab) – comes with a themed console, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Mytrix accessories.
We’d also recommend checking out the $651.89 $529.99 Nintendo Switch Multiplayer Bundle (opens in new tab), which includes the standard Nintendo Switch and four games: Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Kirby Star Allies, Minecraft . There are a few older games here, but Mario Kart is a must.
If you’re looking for a Switch OLED model, then Walmart’s most interesting bundle is the one that includes all the Zelda games for the console (plus some extra accessories). The games are: Zelda: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. Back to Amazon itself. It’s the day before Prime Day and there really isn’t much going on in the US in terms of offers. Is it because the products will drop in price as soon as midnight hits? It’s hard to say right now (but don’t panic because we’ll be here reporting all the best prices for you). In the UK, things are a little sweeter. There are discounts on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite, but nothing on OLED. Frankly, we’d be surprised to see much of a discount on the OLED anyway, but we’re hoping there could be further price drops on the Switch and Lite. So the lowest price we’ve ever seen on Amazon for the Switch Lite is £169, which was above Prime Day last year. This fills us with hope that this year we will also see a drop in price. And you don’t have to wait long to find out!
But the good news for now is that the Switch Lite is currently on sale for £174.99 on Amazon (opens in new tab). That’s £6 off the best price ever and well worth picking up if you’re in the market for one. It’s already £25 off the RRP so we can’t imagine it’ll drop much further than that…an extra ten off seems like the most we can hope for.
