Multiple fire crews tackled a large fire which started in a field on the outskirts of Ipswich.
Dozens of firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze off the A1214 London Road after the blaze started just after 8pm on Wednesday (July 20).

A spokesman for Suffolk Police confirmed shortly after 9pm that the fire had been extinguished but an investigation into the cause would be carried out.
He said: “No one was injured in the incident and the blaze did not spread to nearby properties.”
In an update shortly after 9:45 p.m., Matt Webster, station manager, said the fire was under control and reducing.
He said: “It is about seven acres of standing crop and about 200 meters of hedgerow.
“Crews worked tirelessly in the heat and were able to contain the fire in time and prevent extensive damage to nearby properties.”

Crews are expected to remain at the scene for “some time” to ensure the fire does not reignite.
Fire engines from Ipswich East, Princes Street, Holbrook, Leiston and Hadleigh were called to the incident.
