A man is recovering in hospital tonight after he was shot on what police say was a day trip in northeast Calgary.
Around 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, officers were called to the 4000 block of Greenview Drive NE for reports of a shooting.
Paramedics found the victim in serious condition nearby.
The victim was apparently helped from where he was shot to a shopping center parking lot in front of a Rona store where they called for help.
There are no arrests.
