Earlier this week, it emerged that Ricky’s nephew had been granted a restraining order against the singer under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law – following claims the pair had a seven-month relationship that ended with “fears for his nephew’s safety”. Ricky’s lawyer then flatly denied the allegations.

Yesterday, Ricky’s nephew withdrew his harassment claims in court, leading to the case being dropped. Ricky’s lawyers subsequently released a statement saying: “We are delighted that our client has seen justice and can now move forward with his life and career.”

“The request came from the prosecutor with a request to terminate the case. This was never more than a troubled individual making false claims with absolutely nothing to back them up.”

Jwan, a Swedish artist who has been married to Ricky since 2017, posted a picture of himself being hugged by the singer with the caption “Truth prevails ❤️”.

Ricky himself replied, “My strength and my peace. I love you.”

After his court appearance yesterday, Ricky said in a video obtained by TMZ: “It was so painful. It was devastating for me, for my family, for my friends. I don’t wish this on anyone.”
