Beloved son of Joseph and Alison Soltis. Dearest brother of Adam, Alanna Cobb (Scott) and Shannon Ryan (Dave). Special uncle to Mila, Dylan, Tyson, Alice, Grace and Owen. Cherished by his grandmother Alice Mullin (the late Patrick) and his late Grandmothers and Judge, Henry and Anna Soltis. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Neil was born in Sault Ste. Marie and enjoyed a life full of travel. He was an avid reader, especially of non-fiction books, watched documentaries and was a collector of all things Star Wars. Neal was a die-hard Leafs fan and supported all of Detroit’s sports team franchises. I always root for the underdog. His knowledge of statistics and trivia made conversations with Neil interesting and memorable. Neil was a talented guitarist and loved music. He will be especially missed by his best friend Owen with whom he shared a special bond and they enjoyed many chats together.
Neil, “May the force be with you!” There will be no service, but there will be a dedication mass. Cremation is pending and a celebration of life is planned in Sault Ste. Marie in the fall of 2022.
