Langley shooting: Emergency alert sent out in British Columbia

An emergency alert sent to cell phones in British Columbia warned of multiple shooting scenes in Langley Monday morning.

The call came in around 6:20 a.m., saying the incident happened in the central part of Langley Township and in Langley Township. It said the incident involved “transient casualties”.

The alert also gives the description of a man, saying he is a man described as white with dark hair. The description said he was wearing a brown Carhartt jumpsuit and a teal camouflage T-shirt with a red logo on the right sleeve. The alert did not specify if that person was a suspect, but said he was “associated with a white car.”

“Police are interacting with a suspect,” the alert said. “It is not known if others are involved at this time.” Please remain alert and out of the area.’
