“What’s really interesting is that we think it bifurcates, so you have these two ‘goblets’ that are attached near their base, and then there would be a continuous piece of skeleton that goes down to the sea a bottom we cannot see. Unfortunately, the fossil record is incomplete,” Dr Dunn told BBC News.
