A local organization that helps Ukrainian refugees settle has launched an employment program to help newcomers find work.
The new program offered by Work Global Canada will provide facilitation and support to Ukrainians, as well as connect them with potential employers.
The program itself actually created positions for three newcomers.
The company says two people from Ukraine and one person from Armenia, whose partner is from Ukraine, have been brought on board to help coordinate the program.
Ukrainians who wish to participate are asked to view the shortlist of job postings online and complete the expression of interest form. Employers wishing to participate must complete an employer application form.
