OnePlus is mixing up its metaphors a bit here. Apparently, scrolling through the software is like breathing ‘ie. Oxygen OS’, but it also runs like water.

Apparently OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13, has an “aquamorphic design” or water-based… whatever that means.

We’ve seen some themed ads for it, but no actual examples of how Oxygen OS 13 looks compared to OS 12.
However, we have heard that it will have a different color scheme as it is based on Klein Blue (a very blue kind of blue).

It looks like the phone unveiling is coming to an end – it’s about time, too, because we’ve been looking at the same device for an hour – but now we’re moving on to the software. In particular, we hear about OxygenOS 13.

It has an all-over design, so the camera bump isn’t a separate part – it just extends from the back.
It comes in two color versions, black and pale green, with the black having a grippy texture.

The cameras on this phone are 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and… some kind of extra macro lens, the latter of which doesn’t sound good.

They’ve confirmed display specs we didn’t know (besides that short slide earlier).
It’s a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz screen that displays over one billion colors, but has a rather limited maximum brightness of 950 nits.
Then we move on to the cameras.

We’re also hearing about OnePlus’ Smart Charging, which uses AI to adapt to your charging schedule – several other brands have similar things, like Google for its Pixels.
The phone can adapt to your climate temperature and schedule to adjust the phone’s charging speed.

I’m not sure about you, but I don’t think I even have 35 apps on my phone, so that seems a bit much. But hey, there might be one or two of you jumping between so many apps at any given time, so maybe it’s useful.

Looking at those gaps and vents, it looks like this could be quite… cooling? I don’t really know how it works to be honest, but it looks interesting.
But will it keep the phone cooler than simply removing the case? We’ll have to see.

An issue we find with the Snapdragon 8 series chipsets is that they heat up incredibly quickly when gaming, and this is something that OnePlus is currently addressing.
Apparently, the OnePlus 10T has improved cooling systems to keep it cool, which apparently took 18 months to develop. It’s all a bit technical, but the bottom line is this: the OnePlus 10T shouldn’t get too toasty.

Now we get some boring stats about how the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is improved over… something. Probably 8 Gen 1, possibly 888 Plus, not clear.
Either way, it’s sound bites like “20% faster” or “15% faster,” but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll feel any different in your hand—that’s something we’ll only be able to feel during testing, so wait for our review on that.

OnePlus wasted no time in sharing basically all the specs of its new phone – of course, it showed off most of them ahead of time.
There are a few things missing — camera sensors for one and design specs for another — but it’s a pretty well-rounded list.

These are all relatively affordable phones, especially by the 10 Pro’s standards, aimed at people who want a top-of-the-line feature or two without paying a hefty price tag.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is one of our favorite phones of 2022 so far, so the 10T has big boots to follow – although it doesn’t sound like it’s trying to emulate its older sibling. Rather, it sounds like he’s trying to provide an alternate version of it.
That’s why there’s no zoom camera, a seemingly flat display and a smaller battery – that’s the speed of this new phone in terms of charging and performance.

The battery and charging information has also now been confirmed and we guess this will be a big draw for the device.
The power pack is 4800mAh, which is quite large, but the spec that catches the eye here is 150W charging.
This isn’t the first phone with such a fast charging speed, but we certainly haven’t seen one that charges faster yet, and we can expect to see the phone go from empty to full in less than 20 minutes.
OnePlus will surely go into more detail about this at launch.

Another thing OnePlus has confirmed is the absence of an alert slider, a popular feature on the company’s phones — you can see it on the edge of the OnePlus 10 Pro in the photo above.
The notification slider is for easily switching between silent mode, vibrate mode or full volume for notifications without having to open your phone. You can easily turn it on silent when you enter a meeting or disable it when you leave without spending ages going through menus.
Like we said, this is a popular OnePlus feature and fans are already upset about its removal.

Another piece of camera information we know about the OnePlus 10T is that it won’t feature the Hasselblad branding that previous OnePlus phones have.
The brand boasted that legacy camera brand Hasselblad contributed some of the phone’s camera hardware and software, and in the 10 Pro it shows up as several new camera modes and AI tweaks in the normal photo mode.
