The first installment of Premier League pre-match press conferences begins on Thursday as the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) countdown to Gameweek 1 begins.
Eight managers are speaking to the media today, with the remaining dozen to follow on Friday. One of the head coaches who will be facing reporters, Erik ten Hag, will hopefully clarify whether the reports that Anthony Martial has been ruled out of Manchester United against Brighton are accurate or not.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Antonio Conte said on Thursday that he has not yet made a decision on whether Ivan Perisic or Ryan Sessegnon will start on the left wing at the weekend.
Oliver Skipp (tear) and Richarlison (suspended) are the only Spurs players certain to miss the trip to Southampton, although Yves Bissouma (knee) may not be a risk.

ARSENAL
Emil Smith Rowe, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Fabio Vieira and Kieran Tierney are all recovering from injury ahead of Friday’s game against Crystal Palace, with Mikel Arteta saying three of them could even be available for selection.
“Three out of four of them will probably train this afternoon. If all goes well, they will be available for selection.”

The Arsenal boss did not reveal any new concerns when he faced reporters, although he was not directly asked.
EVERTON
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (knee) could be out for Everton’s first eight league games after Frank Lampard confirmed his star striker will be out until mid-September.

“[Tom Davies] he has to train with us next week. [Andre Gomes] is in a week or two. [Yerry Mina] is fit. [Asmir Begovic] is fit, hopefully – almost fit. He worked very hard, ahead of schedule. [Seamus Coleman] is fit, he will play for the under-21s tomorrow night to get some minutes. He’s behind in terms of fitness, but typically like Sheamus, he works very hard to get up to speed. [Allan] is fit but still trying to get game minutes, he hasn’t played that many minutes in the preseason. Daniel James (suspended), Stuart Dallas (foot), Luke Ayling (knee), Junior Firpo (knee), Adam Forshaw (knee) and Luis Sinistera (hamstring) are out for Leeds’ clash with Wolves.
CRYSTAL PALACE
Patrick Vieira confirmed to the press on Thursday that Michael Oliseh, who has been out since May with a leg problem, is still a few weeks out, while James McArthur will be out tomorrow with a groin problem.
BOURNMOUTH
Scott Parker has revealed that Joe Rothwell (thigh) and Ryan Fredericks (unspecified) were his only injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa.
New signing Marcus Tavernier is available for selection.
David Brooks, who announced he had beaten cancer in May, sat out pre-season with the Cherries cautious about his return.
