VIDEO: Police search for break and enter suspect

Police say the suspect stole a wallet and two purses containing identification and credit cards from a residence on July 20, 2022.

Crime Stoppers and Sault Ste. Marie Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a breaking and entering last month.

In the early morning hours of July 20, 2022, officers were called to the city center in reference to a breaking and entering of a residence. A wallet and two bags containing identification documents and bank cards were taken. After the hack was discovered, the bank cards were canceled, but not before one card was used multiple times at Circle K.

A female suspect was caught on CCTV with the stolen bags and using a stolen bank card.
