A driver’s car has been impounded after police caught him driving 64km/h over the speed limit in Mount Pearl.
Police spotted the vehicle just after 10.30pm last night.
They say the speed limit in the area is 50km/h, meaning the car was traveling at 114km/h at the time.
In addition to their car being taken away, the driver was issued a certificate of violation.
