In his Instagram post, Sam claimed that “Kevin’s character is revealed through the approval of the brutal 13 years [conservatorship] and his loyalty to [Jamie] shows his approval at [the] and the time of his conception.”
He continued: “What are now considered normal problems and behaviors that are easily managed with therapy or other means were magnified to justify a 13-year prison sentence. Anyone who endorses it is wrong or taking advantage of it in some way.”
In June 2021, after Britney spoke about her custody in court, Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said in a statement to People, “Britney has not been well served by custody and it’s not consistent with what she wants . I think she should be able to dispute that. And if that’s what’s best for her, Kevin supports it.”
