Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 to dominate the foldables at the Samsung Unpacked event on August 10. A few first real-world photos of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 have leaked ahead of the official launch.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is rumored to come in three colors. It will probably have a robust design with a brighter look, smoother operation and faster charging without increasing the cost.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 event
On August 10, the Samsung Unpacked event will hopefully unveil the latest Galaxy foldable, a new galaxy watch, and a few other products. A number of products are in the spotlight, from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. CEO Tae Moon Roh confirmed the rumors and said that foldable phones will be the main focus of the Galaxy Unpacked event, as with Samsung looking to push the idea of foldable phones.
Fierce rival Motorola also planned the Motorola Razr 2022 before Samsung Unpacked, but there was still an opportunity for more people to be interested in Samsung’s event. As a result, Motorola canceled its event and now Samsung will be the sole focus of tech enthusiasts.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Expected price
It has been unofficially declared that both of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones will have two storage options. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 variant costs around €1,799 (roughly Rs. 145,000) for the 256GB variant and €1,919 (Rs. 155,000) for the 512GB storage variant.
As these are speculated prices, there may be slight differences and these may be known only after the official launch of the device.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specs and details
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has two displays: internal and external. The internal display has a 7.6-inch touchscreen QXGA+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for powerful visuals, while the external display has a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for the best visual experience.
It will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery paired with 12GB of RAM, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and variable storage capacity from 128GB to 1TB for various usability reasons. It sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto lens for clicking landscape photos. In addition, the dual front camera module with 10 MP external and 4 MP camera under the display will provide decent picture results.

The Samsung Unpacked 2022 event is scheduled for August 10 at 9 am (ET). Hence, you should watch it at 6:30 PM IST.
