EastEnders star Michelle Collins married her lover Mike Davidson at Islington Town Hall on Wednesday.
The 60-year-old soap star, best known for her role as Cindy Biel, looked stunning in a white jumpsuit as she said ‘I do’ to her longtime love before kissing outside in the street while clutching glasses of champagne.
The happy couple were covered in confetti as they left the town hall, with Michelle wearing a floral garland on her head. Mike mirrored her style in a white jacket worn over a black shirt and trousers.

The couple left to start married life in a classic white convertible that was decorated with ribbon.
Michelle’s former co-star Adam Woodyatt, who played Cindy’s ex-husband in EastEnders, was also in attendance but looked rather casual in blue trousers and a striped shirt.
The pair’s characters were pretty sharp on EastEnders. It is known that Cindy died in childbirth while in prison.
She was sent after she was sent to hire a hitman to kill Ian when he said he would take her to court for custody of their children, in a plot that aired in 1998.

The day was also attended by Lord Michael Cashman – who these days is better known for his political career than his acting abilities. He found fame in EastEnders 36 years ago as Colin Russell and returned to the show in 2016 for a short stint.
The former Labor MEP appeared on the program for three years from 1986 and hit the headlines when his character shared the first gay kiss on a British soap opera.
The star used the platform EastEnders gave him to raise awareness of LGBT rights, founding the charity Stonewall in 1989. He was the West Midlands MEP from 1999 until 2014, when he was appointed to the House of Lords.

Soap star Michelle confirmed her engagement to Mike in April by sharing an image from a friend’s account on her Instagram Stories.
The photo showed the screen star sipping champagne with the caption: ‘Bride to be @michellecollins.’
According to The Sun, a source said Michelle told friends: “We know it’s late but we’ve been together for 10 years and what’s the point of waiting.

After the ceremony, guests are said to be welcomed to a reception at a private split-level bar in North London, which features a pub with a Venetian chandelier and a heated roof terrace.

The actress previously hit out at critics for the 22-year age gap between the duo and was disappointed to be branded a ‘cougar’.
Michelle – who has also appeared in Coronation Street and Doctor Who – said in 2018: ‘Mike is 22 years younger than me and they think I’m a predator. It drives me crazy. People call him my toyboy beau. He’s almost 35, for God’s sake.
“He turned to me the other day and said, ‘I’m certainly not your toy boy yet, am I?’
“I laugh about it now, but it’s annoying. And I hate that word cougar. I can’t stand it I find it so humiliating. The cougar is a predator that goes around looking for young flesh. I’m certainly not like that.
