Public Health Ontario reports more monkeypox cases in Ottawa

There are now 36 confirmed cases of the monkeypox virus in the capital.

Public Health Ontario (PHO) confirms more cases of monkeypox virus in Ottawa.

As of August 10, there were 36 confirmed cases of monkeypox in the capital, while the Eastern Ontario and Renfrew County Health Unit and District Health Unit reported no cases of monkeypox, while the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Counties Health Unit reported one a case of monkeypox virus.

There are currently 478 confirmed cases of monkeypox across the province, with 359 of those cases in Toronto.
