A driver in Quinte West was found with his car overturned in a ditch on Golf Course Road.
The crash was discovered at 9pm on Wednesday when a passing motorist discovered a tree had fallen onto the road.
Upon inspection, the overturned car was found in the ditch with the tree on top of it.
The OPP, fire department and ambulance responded to the scene. The driver was extricated from the wreckage using the jaws of life and taken to Belleville General Hospital.
An investigation is underway.
