Lamborghini has unveiled its highly anticipated Urus Performante SUV, which promises to raise the bar on the already popular Lamborghini Urus in terms of sportiness and performance. Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stefan Winkelmann said the Lamborghini Urus Performante is not only suitable for the road, but also for any environment.

The new Lamborghini Urus Performante is lightweight and offers an aerodynamic design for sportier driving dynamics. The weight of the new SUV has been reduced by 47 kg. Lamborghini informs that the new steel springs lower the Performante’s chassis by 20mm. The wheels of the super SUV are 16 millimeters wider.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante SUV gets deep cutouts in the hood lines next to the new front bumper. The hood of the car is much more prominent and also includes air vents that are forged from lightweight carbon fiber. Front air intakes provide increased engine cooling.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante rear spoiler design comes with carbon fiber fins and is inspired by the Aventador SVJ. It also contributes to the SUV’s increased downforce by 38 percent. The lower rear bumper and diffuser are also made of carbon fiber and come with a lightweight titanium Akrapovic sports exhaust as standard.

The low stance of the Lamborghini Urus Performante is emphasized by its protruding front end along with the rear wing and bumper, which increase the overall length of the SUV by 25 mm.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante gets wider carbon fiber wheel arches. One can opt for 22-inch or 23-inch lightweight wheels with titanium studs specially designed for Pirelli tires.

The cockpit of the Lamborghini Urus Performante features Nero Cosmus Black Alcantara as standard with a new hexagonal stitching design on the seats. The dashboard offers the Urus’ center stick along with controls such as a start/stop button and a drive mode selector. New HMI graphics specially designed for the Urus Performante are displayed both on the center console screen and in a large arc across the main display.
