Passed away peacefully with her youngest daughter (her baby) by her side on 17th August 2022, aged 80.
Cookie is survived by her loving husband, Gary, who cared for her with tremendous care, love and support. Loving mother of Carrie (Bruce) of Winnipeg, Patricia of Winnipeg, Gary Jr. (Rose) of Port Frank and Suzanne (Stephen) of Sault Ste. Marie. Wonderful Nana of Brad (Marla) of Vancouver, the late Shawn of Calgary, Jordan (Stephanie) of Sault Ste. Marie, Gary Jr. of London, Ashley of Vancouver, Justin (Danica) of Sault Ste. Marie, Tavis (Sharisse) of Sault Ste. Marie, Kiana and Mikayla both of Winnipeg. Great Nana to Noah, Nava, Aidan, Amira, Jonah and Parker.
Daughter of the late Henri and Delphine Quesnel. Cookie was the last remaining Quesnelle and had predeceased her brothers; Henri Jr. (Lorraine), Konrad, Rudy, Joseph, Noel (Diana), Gerald. Sister of the late Edith Piramalli (Frank) and June Deresti (Paul). Daughter-in-law of Mary Ann Murphy (Calvin) and Darlene and the late Wayne Reed.
Cathy Hall’s best friend, for whom Mom had the greatest love and respect. Everyone who knew Mom loved her humor and ability to be the life of the party. Mom, we know you have them at the pearly gates asking, “Don’t I know you from somewhere?”
