Fire evacuates Walmart

People were evacuated from the Westbank Walmart Sunday afternoon.
UPDATE: 1:05 p.m
West Kelowna Fire Rescue crews have already left the Westbank Walmart, according to a witness to the incident, but the store remains closed.
Walmart remains evacuated and a strong smell of burnt plastic reportedly remains in the area.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.

A fire reportedly broke out at the Westbank Walmart on Sunday afternoon, forcing the store to be evacuated.
West Kelowna Fire Rescue is currently on scene at the store located on Louie Drive.
Castanet has received unconfirmed reports that the fire started in the sporting goods section, but it is unclear what caused the fire.
At the moment, the building remains evacuated.
