Canada

Acting Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Jazz Atwal announced the first confirmed case of monkeypox in Manitoba on Friday. Atwal says the province is leading the way in proactively distributing doses of the Monkeypox vaccine before the first confirmed case. He encourages anyone who thinks they are “at risk” according to the province’s eligibility criteria to go online and make an appointment.
