Here’s when the Nothing Phone (1) will get the Android 13 update

Nothing Phone (1) has attracted a lot of attention due to its unconventional design and well-rounded specifications. The smartphone comes with Android 12 operating system and the company also announced that the smartphone will get 2 years of Android software update. Recently, however, company founder Carl Pai posted a rather cryptic response on Twitter to a user who asked about the Android 13 update for the Nothing Phone (1). A Twitter user named Nicolas Lellouche asked Pei when the Nothing Phone (1) would get an Android 13 update. To this, he replied, “A product is more than its specs, features and version number.” But now the company has released an official statement on Nothing Phone’s Android 13 update release (1). Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 Update In a statement given to Android Authority, Nothing said, “We are always working hard to improve the user experience of Phone 1. To ensure this, updates to the operating system will be available for download on a regular basis. Regarding Android 13, this will launch for Phone 1 users in the first half of 2023. Before the launch, we want to fine-tune the software upgrade with the Nothing hardware. We’ll be sure to keep you posted with further information.” So that means the Nothing Phone (1) will receive an Android 13 update by next year. Specifications of Nothing Phone (1) Nothing Phone (1) features a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Phone (1) comes with 60Hz-120HZ adaptive refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset designed specifically for Nothing and runs Nothing OS. The handset features a dual camera setup with a 5OMP sensor where the primary camera is powered by Sony IMX766. The Nothing Phone (1) offers 18 hours of use on a single charge and charges to 50% within 30 minutes.
