An analyst says the Public Service Board will have to adjust prices to reflect reality. Gasoline has been falling in North America of late, but Tuesday’s board outage left the price unchanged. However, diesel jumped by more than 8 cents per liter.
Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, expects diesel to continue climbing because of strong demand, but says gasoline should drop four or five cents tonight.
He says gas in Toronto was $158.9, down nearly a penny in the last week or so. The story in Vancouver and the rest of Western Canada is the same, so it’s something PUB shouldn’t prevent from happening in the Netherlands, McTeague says.
