Six people were killed in a car crash in Bari sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, police said.
In a series of tweets, Barrie police said officers located a fatal single-vehicle collision around 2 a.m. in the area of McKay Road and Country Road 27.
Police said the six people found dead in the vehicle were reported missing on Saturday night.
A missing person report was issued by police around 8pm on Saturday night. It has since been removed, standard procedure for reporting a missing person once the person has been found.
Officers said four men and two women, all in their 20s, were reported missing.
A Saturday evening release from Barrie police identified the missing persons as 22-year-old Curtis King, 23-year-old River Wells and 22-year-old Jason O’Connor.

It says 22-year-old Luke West is also missing, along with two women: Jersey Mitchell and Haley Marin.
The Barrie Minor Lacrosse Association said in a Facebook post that West was a member of the Bombers Jr. C Lacrosse Club and has played most of his life.
“After graduating from Barrie Minor Lacrosse, Luke became a core member of the most successful Jr. Lacrosse teams. C Bombers,” the post said.
The post said West is working hard to share the sport with others and welcome new people to the game.
“Westy, the impact you had on your teammates, coaches and the young men you coached is immeasurable,” the post said. “Few have worked harder in Bomber Blue, few can claim to have lifted us so high. We love you, miss you and are grateful for the time we had with you.”
