One person has died after a truck crashed into a tree in Mayford tonight.
Gray Bruce OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on Gray County Road 29 on Friday just after 11:40 p.m.
Police said a pickup truck left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The driver was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Members of the OPP Traffic Accident Management and Enforcement Team are assisting the Gray Bruce OPP with the investigation.
Gray County Road 29 was closed around the scene of the collision to protect emergency services.
It has since reopened to traffic. The investigation is in its early stages.
