Microsoft is rolling out email security improvements for all customers, including students using cMail, and you may need to switch email applications before October to continue to have access to your inbox.
Microsoft introduced a new authentication method called Modern Authentication. On Saturday, October 1, 2022, applications that do not support Modern Authentication will lose access to cMail. If your email app doesn’t support Modern Authentication, you’ll need to download the Microsoft Outlook app for all mobile, desktop, and laptop devices, or switch to Outlook on the web through a browser.
