A GP surgery in the Borders will be forced to close early next year due to staffing problems.
The region’s health board said it had agreed to the move to Chirnside “after much consideration”.
I will see the Merse Medical Practice branch in the village close at the end of March 2023.
The decision was blamed on continuing significant challenges in recruiting and retaining staff.
NHS Borders stressed that affected patients will still be able to access services from the main surgical practice at Duns.
