I used a fixed leaderboard at the top of the blog after only discovering such a feature existed last week when Holly used it. What else can this magical rig do that I don’t know about?
Anyway, Fleur and Vito are at the top of the tower and Ellie and Kim are at the end of the pier. Will they be in the bottom two tomorrow? I’m not so sure – Tyler and Molly might be in trouble too.
Scores: 8,9,9,9 – a total of 35 for Will and Nancy.
Why are you giving it an eight, Craig? What was wrong with him?
Motsi could see the full body action and Samba rhythm and Shirley could see how much he was enjoying it – he is a very well oiled machine. Anton has had some samba nightmares over the years (really, Anton? You never mentioned it), but Will was amazing. Craig is still reeling from all the hip content, the whole night was absolutely outstanding. AGREED.
This is exactly the kind of feathered technical camper I want from Samba, and Will gives it his all. It has great musicianship and you can see this hip act from space. It might actually be my favorite dance of the night.

Finally, it’s Will and Nancy!
Poor Will, he has to follow this. This week he and Nancy dance the samba to Hugh Jackman’s I Go To Rio. Technically this belongs in Musicals Week, but whatever. It was a good night and I don’t care.
We’ve had some very good Sambas this year, including Fleur and Vito who absolutely smashed it last weekend. Can Will and Nancy follow in their footsteps or is it a Samba walk to the nearest tram stop?
“I’ve always wanted to be a member of Destiny’s Child and Vito had to be Michelle,” says Fleur. I love her so much.
Scores: 10,10,10,10 – a perfect 40 for Fleur and Vito.
FAB-U-LUSS says Craig. Mozzi got VERY excited and thought it was amazing. Shirley thought it was an iconic routine that would go down in history – it was absolutely phenomenal. Anton had been waiting for this trick from Fleur, but now she had learned to direct her control.
Come on Craig, take out your ten.
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how fierce Fleur is? This is pure Beyonce attitude and I’m totally here for it. Fleur owns this dance and Vito just makes up the tricks. I absolutely LOVED this.
Next up are Fleur and Vito!
This week they dance their Couple’s Choice to the Destiny’s Child megamix. Will it be an unforgettable celebration of everything we love about Fleur? Or a Michelle Visage anthem for getting out of Blackpool? I’m betting on the former.
I still can’t believe no one has said “get Fleur” on this show yet. Very disappointing.
Scores: 9,10,10,10 – a total of 39 for Helen and Gorka.
“I need a drink now,” Helen said after much jumping up and down. So many mothers across the country are feeling you right now, Helen.

Although Anton was amazing – especially from the neck up, which I’m not sure is a compliment. Craig had a problem with Helen’s frame, but her footwork was outstanding, scoring tens in every one of the Power categories. Shirley is speechless, it was absolutely amazing. Dozens more, anyone?
That leather bodice is truly awful, I hope Helen spoke profusely or there will be a terrible chafing. Still, if Strictly doesn’t work out, a career as a Claire Grogan impersonator awaits her.
Helen really is a brilliant dancer and this Quickstep is FAST. I don’t see much wrong with that – FAB-U-LUSS.

Helen and Gorka!
This week they quickstep to “Valerie” by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. Peter Andre and Janette did a Quickstep for this in 2015, which is mostly a reminder to us all that Peter Andre took part in Strictly. I had completely forgotten.
Have your cup ready when Helen or Gorka mention how big the floor is in this VT. Oh no wait, Tess already did.
Scores: 7,8,8,8 – a total of 31 for Eli and Johannes.
Shirley liked the music, which is the best shade. He wanted more heart and soul. Anton didn’t care for the position of Ellie’s head, but otherwise she was beautiful. Craig didn’t care for Ellie’s arms – a bit like a Barbie doll and a bit clumsy in and out of lifts. Mozzi loves the partnership, but it should have been more intense.
