An ice rink in Glasgow was closed due to technical problems a day after opening.
The winter attraction, billed as the UK’s largest ice rink, welcomed hundreds on its opening day on Thursday.
Elfingrove has transformed the grounds of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum into a winter wonderland – complete with a children’s slide for under-fives.
However, organizers Itison announced on Friday that the rink was temporarily closed due to technical problems with the marquee.

Organizers have confirmed to STV that they hope the rink will open on Saturday 26 November.
Itison also offered full refunds to all ticket holders and apologized for the inconvenience.
The company’s chief executive and creator of Elfingrove, Ollie Norman, said: “Despite our planning and engineering, things like this happen that are beyond our control and we are heartbroken to let everyone down who is due to come today.
“The marquee company is on site and doing everything necessary to correct the issue to ensure the event can reopen as soon as possible.

“Our aim is to put on a brilliant festive event for everyone to enjoy during the darker months and we are gutted to have to close the event today.
“We apologize to everyone who had tickets to come today and tonight. We have contacted everyone affected and all ticket holders have been offered a full refund.”
