Georgia Harrison has vowed she wants to “concentrate solely on making positive changes in society” after her ex Stephen Bear was found guilty of posting a sex tape of her online.
The Love Island star, who waived his right to anonymity to give evidence at his trial, shared a lengthy Instagram post in which he vowed to “relinquish all negativity” after his two-year ordeal.
Stephen, who now faces up to two years in prison, was found guilty of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress after he uploaded CCTV of himself and Georgia in a sexual act on OnlyFans.
Defiant: Georgia Harrison has vowed to ‘concentrate solely on making positive changes in society’ after her ex Stephen Bear was found guilty of posting a sex tape of her online
Georgia shared a glamorous photo on her Instagram network wearing a black three-piece suit and wrote a candid caption thanking her fans for their support during this difficult time.
She wrote: “Thank you for all your support. I really want to put all negativity behind me and focus solely on positive changes in our society to help protect everyone, but most importantly the younger generation.
“To all those who have been victims of such crimes, I hear you and I am with you. We can’t control all the things that happen in our lives, but we can choose not to let them define us.

In her post, Georgia also shared a video of Assistant Chief Constable Rachel Nolan speaking at Chelmsford Crown Court following the conviction.
She said: “This man thought he could treat women and girls like he was on a reality show.
“He thought he could commit horrific crimes in Essex and get away with it. He was wrong.
Shocking: Stephen, who now faces up to two years in prison, was found guilty of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress
“You can’t try to manipulate people to satisfy yourself. You can’t pretend that taking intimate videos and sharing them without consent is OK. Is not.
“If you try to sneak into Essex, you won’t make it, no matter who you are. Thank you, Georgia Harrison, not only for your courage, but for your trust in our detectives.
“I would like to comment on the investigating officer on this case, Detective Brian Sitch, who has demonstrated his determination to stand with Georgia Harrison to hold this man accountable.
“A young woman has shown tremendous bravery by taking a public stand to try and protect other women and girls.”
Prison? The judge bailed Bear (pictured with girlfriend Jessica Smith) until January 31 to return to the same court for sentencing after a report has been drawn up
In her statement after the conviction, Georgia said “the last two years have been absolute hell.”
Steven allegedly filmed the act on CCTV in his back garden on 2 August 2020 and uploaded it to OnlyFans.
Georgia said she didn’t know they were filmed and told Bear not to share the footage when he showed it to her, but she said he shared it on WhatsApp and the online subscription site.
Bear denied all charges, but a jury today found him guilty by unanimous verdicts on two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress. He was found guilty by a 10-to-two jury verdict of voyeurism.
He now faces up to two years in prison, with Georgia saying the sentence will “allow me to begin to put the pain I’ve suffered in the past and begin to embrace the future.”
She added: “I hope that taking a stand will give other men and women who have been victims of revenge porn the courage to seek justice and most importantly show them that they have nothing to be ashamed of.
“At times I have felt ashamed, hurt, insulted, even broken, but today I stand here feeling empowered, grateful, and an overwhelming sense of oneness with all those who reached out to support me during this ordeal.”
Horrifying: In her post-conviction statement, Georgia said ‘the last two years have been absolute hell’ (pictured with Bear in 2019)
The judge bailed the Bear until January 31 to return to the same court for sentencing after a report has been prepared for him.
Baer, wearing a black suit and tie, stared straight ahead as the jury foreman returned the verdicts after more than eight and a half hours of deliberation.
After the convictions were returned, Bear said in court: “My lawyer said no . . .
“In my view, from the beginning, what the press said against me was never a fair trial. I was fighting a losing battle and it is what it is.’
Judge Christopher Morgan told the defendant: “Thank you for this observation.”
Georgia said that when Bear showed her the footage, she told him to “never send it” to anyone and “made it clear how upset she would be if he did.”
Prosecutor Jacqueline Carey KC said Bear uploaded the footage “either himself or uploaded it to OnlyFans and profited financially”.
Bear, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, claims he deleted the footage and did not send it to others.
Court battle: Baer denied all charges, but today jury found him guilty in unanimous verdicts
He previously told the trial that he “thought it was funny” that the cameras had filmed him and Ms Harrison having sex.
“We played it on the monitor screen,” he said. “She asked for a copy of it.”
“I said ‘sure I’ll send you a copy’, it went on for 20 minutes.”
Bear said Ms Harrison “told me to delete the recording, which I did”.
“Why would I want this on my phone?”
He said his “intention” that day “was to meet a friend – the sex was a bonus and the footage was pretty funny to look back on”.
He described Georgia’s claim that she had seen him send the recording to someone on WhatsApp that night as a “complete lie”.
Speaking out: Georgia (left, at Chelmsford Crown Court earlier this month) says she never consented to the video being shared and is seeking civil damages
During his interview with police, Bear claimed Georgia laughed at the sex video when he showed it to her in the garden and said he “did well”.
He told officers she had shared it with her friends and told them: “I said ‘Holy shit honey, look at this, I’ve got it on camera.’
“It was turning her on, she was turned on, she was just laughing at it, it’s funny.”
Bear has repeatedly claimed his Instagram had been hacked, but would only reply “No comment” when police asked him specific questions.
Georgia’s mother and manager, Nicola Harrison, gave evidence at the trial and said her daughter was “crying” and “crying” when she called her the day after the shooting.
She said Ms Harrison told her not to worry as Bear had promised he would delete the video.
Nicola told jurors: “She said he sent the video to someone in front of her and she asked him to delete it. She thought it was over – she said “Don’t worry, he deleted it.”
“She said people have been contacting her saying they’ve seen the video, and some people have contacted her from America. She said it should be online and not just people showing it.
As her manager, Nicola had access to her daughter’s Instagram account and said that after a request for information posted by her daughter in December 2020, she saw 20 responses, one of which sent her a screenshot of the video.
She said she went to Bear’s OnlyFans page, paid $15 and saw the video but didn’t watch it, adding, “It’s something I would never, ever want to see.”
When asked about footage being uploaded to OnlyFans, Bear told his trial: “I don’t know about uploading video.
“All I know is a 20-minute video I had at the time. I’m not aware of any other video that has been uploaded.’
He also said he never changed the price of his subscription on his OnlyFans account, which was deactivated in December 2020.
The alleged offenses allegedly took place in August 2020 and November 2020. Baer was arrested after returning from Dubai in January 2021.
