UK-based Nigerian, Taiwo Balogun, 53, who went missing on Thursday, December 1, 2022, was found dead in a lake in Kent.
Balogan, from Crayford, was last seen near her home in south-east London four weeks ago.
Her body was found in a lake at the Bluewater shopping center in a search for a “vulnerable” missing mother who went missing four weeks ago from her London home, a Daily Mail UK report said.
The Metropolitan Police on Monday said the body of a woman had been found in a lake in Kent, adding that her death was not being treated as suspicious, although it was unexpected.
The force tweeted: “The body of a woman was recovered from a lake near Bluewater Shopping Center on Friday 30 December. Pending official identification, Taiwo Balogun’s family has been informed.
“Her death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious. Our thoughts are with Taivo’s family.”
CCTV footage showed Balogun at the lottery booth at a shop in Crayford Road, Dartford, at around 2.27pm on the day she disappeared.

In a previous statement, Balogun’s family said: “We are very worried about our mother. She is much loved and a huge part of our lives.’
