A Hanover man released on bail Tuesday was rearrested the next day on similar charges.
Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll said on Twitter that the 61-year-old man was initially charged with making threats and assault by police.
The man was arrested Wednesday for making threats and several charges of violating his release order.
Police say they recovered several knives from the suspect during the arrest.
