Man cuts employee’s clothes during Kitchener business robbery: police

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person after a robbery at a Kitchener business.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has released photos related to the robbery that took place on January 3rd in the area of ​​Ottawa Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road.

Police said they responded to the store around 6:30 p.m. and learned the man was seen trying to leave the store without paying for the merchandise.

When a store employee approached the man, he used a knife on the employee, cutting their clothes, police said.

There were no injuries, but the man ran from the store.
