Toronto stabbing leaves man with serious injuries

A man was seriously injured after he was stabbed in downtown Toronto Friday afternoon.

Toronto police said the stabbing happened in the area of ​​Front Street East and Cooperage Street, east of Cherry Street, around 2:10 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim with stab wounds. Toronto paramedics say the victim was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No suspect information has been released.
