RCMP have charged a 50-year-old man with driving while impaired after a crash in Terenceville last Wednesday night.
As VOCM News previously reported, police were called when a vehicle traveling on the highway near Terrenceville crossed the center line and struck the side of an oncoming SUV.
The driver of the suspect vehicle left the scene before police arrived, but officers located him a short time later and arrested him for impaired driving.
The breath samples collected were almost twice the legal limit.
The man’s driver’s license was confiscated and the accused was released to appear in court at a later date.
