Dr. Jordan B. Peterson is coming to Abbotsford in May

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson will host his lecture tour at the Abbotsford Center in the spring

Peterson’s event, titled Beyond Order: 12 More Rules For Life, is scheduled for AC on Thursday, May 18.

The 60-year-old Canadian media personality, retired clinical psychologist and best-selling author has achieved fame through her social media presence in recent years.

Peterson was suspended from Twitter last year after he was found to have violated the social media network’s policy on hateful conduct. It was reinstated after Elon Musk purchased the platform in November.

Most recently, he made headlines after receiving a disciplinary letter from the Ontario College of Psychologists, which said he must “review, reflect and improve [his] professionalism in public speaking” by completing a re-education program. Peterson refused to participate in the program.

According to the event page at abbotsfordcentre.ca., Peterson has taught mythology to lawyers, doctors and businessmen, consulted for the UN Secretary General, helped his clinical clients deal with depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia , has served as an advisor to senior partners of major Canadian law firms and has lectured in North America and Europe.

I was sentenced by @CPOntario to mandatory communications retraining in part because I retweeted @PierrePoilievre. It’s time for the commissioners there to resign.

His book 12 Rules for Living: An Antidote to Chaos was published in 2018 and has sold over 7 million copies internationally.
