ATLANTA, Ga. – Atlanta police have identified the six people arrested Saturday night after a protest turned violent.
According to police records, only one of those arrested lives in Georgia.
Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum a group of protesters dressed in all black told Channel 2 Action News began a peaceful march down Peachtree Street.

When they reached the Ellis Street intersection, some protesters began breaking windows and attacking Atlanta police patrol cars.
One of the APD cruisers is on fire.
Three businesses, including a Wells Fargo bank, were damaged, Schierbaum said.
No employees or citizens were injured.
Hundreds of protesters oppose the the construction of an APD training center gathered at Underground Atlanta before moving down Peachtree St. in the heart of downtown Atlanta.

According to police, the six arrested were identified as Nadia Geier, 24, of Nashville, Tennessee; Madeline Feola, 22, of Spokane, Wash.; Ivan Ferguson, 23, of Nevada; Graham Evatt, 20, of Decatur, Georgia; Frances Carroll, 22, of Kennebunkport, Maine; and Emily Murphy, 37, of Grosse Isle, Michigan.
Each of the suspects faces felony charges including second-degree criminal damage, first-degree arson, trespassing on government property and domestic terrorism.
Earlier this week, the Georgia State Patrol and other agencies were at the site of the proposed facility, clearing out protesters who had camped in the woods for months.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says one of the protesters, Manuel Teran, shot a state trooper and was then killed by return fire.
Friends of Terran, who was called “Tortugita”, have they repeatedly claimed after the shooting that they were peaceful protesters.
Seven other protesters were arrested on Wednesday and charged with domestic terrorism and criminal trespass.
