Toronto’s Winterlicious is back after a two-year hiatus, returning with an array of prix-fixe dishes at restaurants across the city, including more vegan and vegetarian options.
According to the city, this year’s program includes lunch and dinner menus at more than 220 restaurants in Toronto.
Three-course prix fixe lunch options range from $20-$55, while dinners range from $25-$75.
Taxes and gratuities are not included in menu prices.
Nearly 70% of participating restaurants this year offer vegetarian dishes, while almost 20% offer vegan dishes. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made directly at the restaurants.
Winterlicious and its summer companion, Summerlicious, were originally conceived in 2003 to boost local restaurants during the slower months, but have taken on new meaning since the pandemic hit restaurants the past three years.
“This year’s Winterlicious program aims to support the recovery and revitalization of Toronto’s restaurant industry while providing the enticing experiences and delectable food that restaurant-goers have come to expect from the popular Winterlicious program,” the city said in a statement.
You can find a full list of participating restaurants on the Toronto Winterlicious page.
