Evil Dead: The Game

I have good news and bad news for PS Plus subscribers. We’ll start with the good.
Sony has unveiled its February PlayStation Plus Essential lineup. We usually get three free titles each month, but this February we’re getting four — and that’s a pretty good spread!
The four PS Plus games will be available next Tuesday, February 7th (so be sure to download the games from January until the 6th) and include:
- OlliOlli World
- Evil Dead: The Game
- Destiny 2: Beyond the Light
- Mafia: Definitive Edition
It’s a skating game, a co-op survival game, a space fantasy loot game, and a remastered classic crime boss game, all in one month. Not too shabby!
All of these games were leaked some time ago and you can read more about them here.
I’ve played Destiny 2: Beyond Light and the excellent Mafia: Definitive Edition (which I recommend to anyone who likes Grand Theft Auto but wants to play a game in the genre that doesn’t have all the side quests and fetch quests) but haven’t tried the others yet two, so I’ll definitely try them.
That’s the good news. Now for the bad news:
Sony also announced today that the PlayStation Plus Collection, which offers PS5 owners a range of free games, is being discontinued on May 9. You’ll keep the games if you’ve already purchased them, but after May 9 they’ll no longer be part of your PS Plus subscription.
Here’s the full list of PS Plus Collection games available to buy on PS5 until they’re gone forever:
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Battlefield 1
- Bloodborne
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (Zombie Chronicles Edition)
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
- Gone are the days
- Detroit: Become Human
- Negative impact 4
- Final Fantasy 15
- God of War
- The famous second son
- Monster Hunter World
- Mortal Kombat X
- Ratchet and Clank
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- The Last Guardian
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Until sunset
As you can see, this is quite a list of amazing games. Almost everything here is great, so make sure you have a PS5 to claim anything you haven’t already downloaded. They’ll be gone before you know it.
