Actually from numerous reviews from many different sources samsung are just the mainstream “safe” choice, generally others make better featured phones or better phones in general (better battery, better and more cameras, better materials for build, better hinge design with less visible screen gaps/creases).
Pretty sure (last time I checked and looked at phone deals) in the UK the only foldables the networks sell are the Z flip and fold, nothing from anyone else (so you have no choice but to use them).
PS Samsung is still years behind vivo for under display cameras (I’m sure vivo were the first to do it)

Because China alone probably has the same number of people as all of Europe and their market/Asian market is much bigger than western markets, with India being one of the fastest growing markets in recent years (I’m pretty sure anyway).

You do realize that China’s population is 1.3 billion people, right? Of course, not everyone has the same purchasing power, but only mainland China is still enough to keep sales strong.

Really nice overall, but a bit more thickness for the cameras to fit in something really premium, they need to start making the folding standard if they don’t want to start pricing them more like the non-folding top end models . If I pay more than some ultra or other device for a folding camera, I don’t have to compromise on the zoom camera.

Mediocre cameras compared to the Fold4, the thinner frame will make it less durable, especially since it’s bigger than the Fold4, it doesn’t have an IP rating, the thinner frame will also affect the hardware, including the camera lens (more poor quality and maybe worse heat management?) and global availability is limited. The Mix Fold 2 looks good and I like the larger size compared to the Fold4. But I’m not too sure about its quality.
