Although Ant-Man is best known for being small, the latest trailer for Quantumania, the next installment in the multi-generational, interdimensional Ant-Man and the Wasp series, has just released a new trailer showing how the new enemy of Scott Lang bigger than anything he’s faced before. (Metaphorically speaking.)
Seriously, the trailer is all about Jonathan Majors’ Kang and how Paul Rudd’s Scott tangles with the villain. There’s a lot going on – including the first look at MODOK! – but just watch it:
Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania | New trailer
It wouldn’t be an Ant-Man movie if Scott didn’t make some kind of mistake, and in Quantumania he’ll apparently help Kang in exchange for restoring the five years he lost with his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) during the Blip. It’s an understandable motivation, but given that Kang’s name is in the title of the upcoming new Avengers movie, it’s pretty clear that he doesn’t have the best of intentions — like take over all of spacetime and this trailer reveals Kang definitely has the power, resources, and powers to do just that. Plus: MODOK!

While Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have been more about introductions and setting the scene, this official start to Phase 5 is poised to bring together the unimaginable scope of the Quantum Realm and the Multiverse in ways that the MCU’s characters aren’t ready for. but the public clearly insists on it.
