Arteta expects “twists and turns” in the race for the first four

West Ham also aim to qualify for the Champions League, but their hopes have been focused on their own European performance. David Moyes’ side have lost their jobs after losing the first leg of the Europa League semi-final to Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the middle of the week and will travel to Germany on Thursday to reverse the tie.
The Hammers have not beaten Arsenal in three years, but the home side’s victory will make them rise above Manchester United in the battle for sixth place. There are still many twists and turns ahead of the race for the first four, with Arsenal’s trip to Tottenham scheduled for May 12, and Antonio Conte’s side again putting pressure on the Gunners after beating Leicester 3-1 earlier this afternoon.
