Provincial police say they are investigating after a large drone carrying guns was found stuck in a tree in southwestern Ontario.
The Lambton County OPP says the drone was found Friday near Port Lambton, Ontario, in a tree along the St. Clair River, which runs between Canada and the United States.
Police say there were 11 pistols in the bag attached to the drone.
Force spokesman Jamie Bidley said in an email that the guns found were mostly of the type banned in Canada.
He says the firearms probably came from the United States.
Police are asking everyone with information to contact them.
